no i meant stupid summa kids for the sophomores. they just opened econ up to juniors so since it was easy, people decided to take it.

yes the calc thing is somewhat ridiculous. i still cant believe that i had a 6th grader in my precalc class last year. and he was supposed to be in 4th!. that is insane.

Hah, you're saying there are many sophomores in AP ECon?
Last year, even though it was a senior class, there were 1 or two sophomores in each class.

But then again, Julia, what do you expect from an AP class with no actual prerequisities?

And as for the 6th grader in calc, that's a little different. There's always going to be that one kid who's a "math genius," regardless of where you live or what schools you go to. It just can't be helped.

that doesnt necessarily mean they are ALL smarter than me. one of my friends has a 4.0 yet is taking WAY easier classes. although i guess difficulty doesnt prove brain power either...

Well, technically, you'd do it by weighted GPA. That way, if you're totally rocking out to hard classes, then you'll have a higher one.

And usually people argue that grades don't determine intelligence.
So I guess you must have good grades.
