im not sure.

yeah im very superficial with the thinking thing.

I like to think deep from time to time, myself.

im not a fan of that. too difficult for me.

Well when I host a deep-thinking party, I'll know not to invite you.

Personally, I like to keep myself too busy to deep think.

If I'm deep thinking, it means I'm alone somewhere, waiting for something to happen with nothing to do. I don't really like those situations.

But one time during the California trip, my brother asked me that, as he was trying to prove a unicorn was real or something. I said, "Something you can reach out and touch," much to the amusement of my brother and my dad.

I'm an insomniac so I have a lot of time to think. Its not usually very deep though.

Weird, usually when I stay up in bed it's because I'm worried about something. And worrying leads to thinking about it, which leads to thinking in general.

yup. i have the same problem. my who plane flight down i was thinking about the engines not working any longer and we would fall down to our deaths. and i kept wondering how the heck something so big and with so many people could stay in the air for hours. i was scaring myself. im horrible with flying.

Obviously, you have no faith in modern mechanics.

i honestly dont. i get too technical about it all. i feel that the plane should not be able to fly.

So then what in your mind should be able to fly?

birds.

wow i almost put that but then i saw you put that. lol oh kites fly! i dont think some huge piece of metal with a load of suitcases and people should be able to get off of the ground.

You obviously didn't see the giant engines on either side of the plane.

well i did but you know engines go bad.

Almost none of the time!

And if it does happen, there's the other engine.

There's only been one incidence of a double engine failure, and that's because they misjudged how much gas they had.

You do know that airplanes are safer than cars, right? If there's one thing you learn in AP Psych...

i never took AP psych but yes i know they are safer. i just dont feel as safe.

what is this is the SECOND case of double engine failure?

Yeah, planes are actually very safe. Because the likelihood of an engine breaking down is so low. And besides, they check them like after every flight.

Yeah.

I mean, they're expensive as all get out, and the companies want to get as much mileage out of them as they can.
