Well, I'm just saying, as far as injustices go, that's not all that bad.

You've got plenty of worse situations when kids don't even have parents at that age.

That's actually a rather nebulous law.

For example, it just applies to the city. You can have all the kids you can handle in rural China.

Also, there's always been some sort of pressure to get rid of it.

One of the girls begged to be out of the program and her parents wouldn't let her. They're using them.

And the judges were totally screwing with the scores. Seriously. That girls beam routine was total crap. It didn't deserve above a 15, whereas the near perfect routines got the same scores. I was getting so ticked off.

I know! They kept saying it wasn't biased, but it totally was. Because Shawn Johnson and Nastia Liukin were sooooo much better than everyone else. It's good that they won in the end though. Smile

For some reason, I find men's gymnastics cooler to watch. Well, the floor part of it, at least.

The girls kept doing things and I was like, "Why can't they add a move like this or that...?"

But then the guys go do their thing, and they're doing all that I thought of earlier. I think what I really find impressive is that they try to fill in all the gaps of boring with awesomeness.

Why can't the girls do that?

Errr... what?

And I agree, boys floor is cooler. And high bar is awesome. Hommel horse is okay... but I think uneven bars and balance beam are the most fun to watch.

But the one thing I can't understand is why can't the "women" do the little roll thing at the end? That's so cool...

Well, to be fair, it is women's gynastics.

I think they're allowed to be girly.
